Sure, I get the differences, but the measure I’m using is the same: Marketcap. Both have that measure, it’s not like comparing a squid to an orange. The network for Ripple just happens to be private (banks), not completely decentralized like bitcoin — sure, but they both share some comparative characteristics, like a hammer and saw. Both are used to build something.
